What to Expect
First Fitting
We review your gown, discuss your vision, and pin and sculpt it to your measurements. You’ll receive a detailed quote and timeline at this appointment. We recommend scheduling your first fitting three to four months before your wedding. Once alterations begin, we advise maintaining your current diet and workout routine to ensure a consistent fit for future fittings.
Second Fitting
Your gown bodice is already sculpted and minor adjustments could be made. We will proceed to mark the hem and recommend bustle styles and options for you to choose.
Final Fitting and Pickup
We complete a final check of the bodice and hem to ensure everything fits and feels just right. You’ll then review all final details with your assigned specialist and receive a hands-on tutorial on how to bustle your gown, along with care instructions and final styling notes.
We also provide complimentary steaming for every gown altered at our studio.
Alterations begin with a private, by-appointment fitting. You'll receive a personalized process designed around your gown and your needs. All fittings are by appointment only. Rush services may be available depending on the season and schedule.

What to Bring to Every Appointment
We partner with ZB Couture to offer hand-painted silk gowns. Any design can be brought to life, whether it is your favorite flower, a personal design, or one of ZB Couture’s set collections. You can choose from ready designs or fully customize your gown with the motif you love most.
At Sophia Sierra Bridal Studio, we offer embroidery services by request, adding refined detail and timeless artistry that elevate each creation into a one-of-a-kind couture piece.

To protect the privacy of all brides and ensure a focused fitting, we allow up to 2 guests per appointment for alterations and up to 5 guests for boutique appointments. Additional guests may be accommodated by request only.
Our studio is located on the second floor and is not handicap accessible.
